GDPR — your rights
This page summarises the rights you have over the data we process about you and how to exercise them. Details of what we process and why are in the Privacy Policy.
Your rights
Right of access
You can ask what data we process about you and obtain a copy. If you have an account, you can download it yourself from My account — the export contains a machine-readable file with all your data.
Right to rectification
You can correct inaccurate data directly in your account settings. An e-mail change is confirmed at the new address so an account cannot be taken over by a typo.
Right to erasure
You can delete your account and its data yourself from My account. Some data we are required to keep even after erasure — in particular data on tax documents that the law requires to be archived. That data is not deleted but anonymised: the document stays valid, the link to you disappears.
Right to restriction of processing
If you contest the accuracy of the data or object to processing, you can ask us to temporarily do nothing with the data beyond storing it.
Right to data portability
Data you provided to us and that we process on the basis of a contract or consent will be provided in a machine-readable format. The same export as for the right of access serves this purpose.
Right to object
You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may object to receiving commercial messages at any time — you can also unsubscribe using the link in the footer of every such e-mail, without signing in.
Right to withdraw consent
Consent — for example to analytics cookies or to receiving news — can be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
How to exercise these rights
Most of them you can exercise yourself in your account. Where that is not possible, write to the contact address in the site footer. We will respond within one month; for complex requests the period may be extended by a further two months, of which we will inform you.
To avoid disclosing data to the wrong person, we may ask you to verify your identity.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how your request was handled, you have the right to contact the Czech Data Protection Authority, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.gov.cz.
